Sensationnel Curls Kinks & Co Synthetic Ponytail Instant Pony - GAME CHANGER XL

I bought this because they don’t sell the updo version any more (bummer). I wanted to try this as a “half wig” because the other wigs and half wigs are way too big. I some how made it work as a half wig by pinning it down in areas and using a headband (no ponytail used). It was soooo cute. My only issue is that it started matting on day one. By day three it looked so bad. I wanted to make it at least through the week because I didn’t want to waste the money but it took a lot of work. I can’t recommend this. I wish they would bring back the updo ponytail.

Okay, my first impression of this ponytail when I saw it on YouTube was "I want it".

When I first tried it on, I hated it.

Pros: The length, the curl pattern, and the style I am wearing in the pics. The look of the ponytail is very pretty.

HUGE Con: The quality of the hair on this ponytail is very poor. It reminds me of a piece of yarn sticking out from a sweater. If you pull it just a little, the hair will appear to unravel from
the ponytail. I do NOT recommend pulling this hair, combing this hair, or doing anything that will disturb the style of this hair.
I live in a suburb of Chicago. I know that if and when I go outside wearing this ponytail, the Chicago wind will kick this ponytail's ass! Lol :)

I was able to salvage this ponytail by straightening a lock of the hair underneath using a low temp pressing comb. I then wrapped the hair around the base, and added a piece of gold weaving thread as an accent. It turned out pretty, but I know this ponytail will not last as long as the others I have.

I will keep it for as long as it will last, but I will not buy it again.
